Wickle Woo Has a Halloween Party: A Tiny Tab Book    by Nosy Crow & Jannie Ho Order:  USA  Can Candlewick, 2014 (2014) Hardcover    Reviewed by Bob Walch Designed for children up to three years old, this Halloween tab book features cute animal characters and excellent eye catching illustrations. Unfortunately, the copy I received has a serious issue with the tabs. They are nice and large and easy to grasp, but there is no way a little child can easily move them up and down. Try as I might, I could not make them easier to manipulate. Certainly you can enjoy the book without moving the tabs but that's not the point. Hidden behind the tabs are more animals, plus working the tabs is supposed to improve the toddler's coordination. All this book will do is create frustration if you can't get the parts to function smoothly. So, although this was a good idea, it flopped in this instance.
