John Samson has created word searches shaped like a map of each of the fifty states. The word list includes a number of facts associated with each state. You'll find the state capital, biggest city, motto, and other bits of trivia like state flower, tree and famous state natives. Kid friendly, these word searches will teach a little geography while also making the youngster aware of the shapes of all the states. Obviously, this book is ideal for a rainy day activity or if you are going to be on a lengthy trip and need a diversion for a youngster - or adult for that matter.
