T
his wonderful book features 52 pull-out placemats that will keep a youngster busy until dinner is served. Each placement comes with instructions on what the child should do. Help Maisy create a flashy tablecloth, color in toppings for toast or draw some apples on a tree so Maisy can harvest them.
A
ll you need to do is supply crayons or colored pencils and your toddler will do the rest. This book can be used at anytime, not just before a meal is served. If you don’t want to use the finished art as a placemat, then put it up on the fridge or someplace where the whole family can enjoy it.
T
his is the type of book you might also want to hide away for a rainy day or take along on vacation if you anticipate long waits at the airport or too much time in the car.
N
ote: The book has a good, strong, thick, back cover so that the child can work on the pictures while sitting in a chair. Good thinking!
