Will she – or won't she - run for President in 2016? After reading HRC: State Secrets and the Rebirth of Hillary Clinton by Jonathon Allen and Amie Parnes, I believe that she will be the Democratic candidate for that position.

Read this book yourself and see if you agree. I do believe that Hillary Clinton's past service to the United States will lead to her running for this elective office. Serving as Secretary of State from 2008 to 2012 she traveled almost one million miles and visited 112 countries. I am sure thoughts of the future were in the back of her mind as she traveled, but I don't believe that her main objective was to put herself in position as a possible successor to Barack Obama.

Hillary is undoubtedly a very strong woman, both emotionally and physically. She has a stamina that most of us would give an eye tooth for. Her caring for her fellow man is evident to anyone with whom she has had dealings. Offering solace when appropriate, or sharing joyous times, giving a well-earned pat on the back, remembering her staffers' children's names and caring about their well-being. Authors Allen and Parnes give many examples of her far-reaching concern for those around her.

Her calm when faced with hard decisions and her ready laugh defines her personality, whether at State or at home. Without trying, she engenders both loyalty and faithfulness. Aw! Read the book and discover that she is exactly the person she presents to the public. The real thing!

I'm truly impressed with the research that had to happen to make this book what it is. A job well done. Will I vote for her in 2016? You bet. Heck, maybe twice!!
