When Mike the Knight discovers Santa hasn't left him a Christmas present, he decides to get on Santa's good little boy list by helping deliver gifts to the rest of the village. Unfortunately, Mike slips on ice and the gifts fly in every direction.

Then Santa appears and Mike explains what he was trying to do. After Santa shows Mike his present, which was too big to squeeze down the chimney, the little knight is much happier.

Frankly, the text of this board book is rather insipid, but if your child likes the Mike the Knight character, just enjoy the illustrations and don't worry about the ho-hum-this-is-dumb narrative.
