Named Child Magazine's Best Book of the Year and a Smithsonian Notable Book for Children, this new title from Lucy Cousins will not only attract toddlers with its vivid tropical colors but the hide-and-seek adventure that unfolds with the turning of each page will also be a sure fire hit with the younger set.

Jazzy the lemur and Mama JoJo love playing hide-and-seek. 'Where are you, Baby Jazzy?' Mama JoJo asks as she begins the search. A series of die-cut pages now follow. As the colorful half pages are flipped back, you'll find an anteater, snake, hummingbird, lizard and leopard who all reply, 'Not here!'

Then Mama JoJo goes deeper into the jungle looking for Jazzy. 'Where are you, Baby Jazzy?' More half pages conceal hiding creatures like a chameleon, curly wurly bird, crocodile, parrot, caterpillar and gorilla. But no Jazzy.

And so the search continues. Even more jungle animals are found, but still no Jazzy. Finally, a double gatefold concluding page ends the game. Someplace here Jazzy is hiding but you'll have to look very, very closely to find him!

Children two years of age and older will love looking for Jazzy in this marvelous, engaging picture book. As you flip the pages your youngster will love repeating the words 'Not here ...' as you search through the jungle for the little lemur.
