K
ito has a lot to learn. The little lion cub wants to be just like his father and, as he follows his dad around, Kito imitates the King of the Savanna.
W
hen his dad gives out a mighty roar, Kito follows with his warning, '
Grooooowl!
' Unfortunately, rather than quaking in their paws the other animals laugh.
F
ather and son hang out together under the acacia tree and hide in the tall grass, stalking prey. Imitation is the highest form of compliment and Kito is obviously proud to be a lion cub and part of the King of the Savanna's family.
W
ith big, bold illustrations that follow Kito and his Papa as they play, hunt and just relax on the savanna, this picture book will become a favorite at story time when your little cub snuggles up next to you for an African adventure.
