'I am the heart of warriors. I am the smile of Irish pride. I am the thread in kente cloth. I am the roots of calypso.' The simple text is a free flowing statement of what makes them different while their smiles and bright faces illustrate the physical traits these children have in common. 'I am hello, jambo, bonjour, zdravo. Namaste, ni hao, hola, buon giorno.' As you turn the pages and view all these smiling youngsters, it will be all but impossible to keep from grinning yourself. The cliché states, 'Our children are the future.' This book shows that it is indeed a bright future! 'I am a fiber in the flag of humanity. I am the world and the world is me.'
