Ben and Rosa Hammond take a bus tour of Yorkshire's quaint villages. Ben is recently retired and doesn't think bus tours are what he wants to do with the rest of his life. But Rosa asked him to go with that twinkle in her eye and he just can't refuse her anything. Little did they know what would come out of this excursion.

While they are on the bus, Ben recognizes his old primary school maths teacher, Miss McGuire, and tries to say hello when the adventurers stop at a roadside inn for some refreshment. He catches up with her but she eludes him several times. When the bus leaves, she is not on the bus!

Now Ben and Rosa plot and plan their next move. Which, incidentally, gets them in more trouble than they could have anticipated.

I love a good cozy, even tried my hand at writing a few, and this is one. Fun stuff. Miss McGuire Is Missing by Eileen Roberston not only conjures up a good mystery but also gives us a delightful tour of the English countryside.
