Well, I don't know if just anyone would cross the threshold of eating establishments with names like A Salt and Battery, New Cod on the Block, Pho Shizzle, or even (big groans all around) Thai Tanic or Hindenburger, but it's clear that some restaurateurs will do just about anything to attract customers!

Author Ben Brusey has proof - he's 'scoured the globe from Shanghai to Sydney to find the world's best-named restaurants, bars and cafes.' Really!

Here are a few more tantalizing samplings that he uncovered during his quest:

Booty's House of Crabs, Cluck U Chicken, The Cod Father, Lick a Chick, Obama Fried Chicken, Crabby Dick's of Delaware, L'Idiot Restaurant, Just Falafs, Facefood ... and there are plenty more! Really!

This pocket-sized, mostly pictorial tome takes you through North America, Europe, Asia and Australia on a rib-tickling and sometimes puzzling tour of some of the yummiest places in which to open a menu. Make sure you take a copy of Pu Pu Hot Pot with you next time you're traveling the globe in pursuit of gastronomical bliss.
