ome along and celebrate a very special day with Bunny and her family. The little rabbit is celebrating her birthday. First, Bunny slips into her nice yellow party dress while her father puts up the decorations in the living room.
N
ext, there's a knock at the door. Bunny wonders who that could be. It is her grandmother and other family friends invited to the party. Everyone is carrying a nicely wrapped box. Are those presents for Bunny? Of course!
W
hen her parents bring out a cake, Bunny makes a wish and blows out the three candles. Then it is time to open all the presents. What's in the big box wrapped in blue paper that Grandma brought? A very special surprise that you'll see when you read this picture book for children two years of age and older.

fter everyone says good-bye and leaves, Bunny asks her mother, '
And is that it? My birthday's done?
' And her mother's reply is, '
Till next year, my sweet honey bun.

dorable illustrations that capture Bunny's special day and a simple rhymed text make this a book that any child will enjoy at story time. It would also be a good picture book for beginning readers or for a child celebrating her third birthday.
