Her name was Red Knot Cap Girl. This little girl had a very big dream. She wanted to meet with and talk to the Moon. Her animal friends suggested how the girl could get close enough to talk to the Moon, but none of the child's attempts were successful. 'Owl knows everything,' Hedgehog tells the girl. 'Ask him how to reach the Moon.' The wise, old owl tells Red Knit Cap Girl that the Moon is too fat away to reach. 'But if you want, she will bend down to listen to you,' Owl says. Gathering her friends together again, the determined girl devises a plan to get the Moon's attention. What that plan is and whether it works or not is explained in this delightful picture book for youngsters five years of age and older. With simple but attractive illustrations, this story about the Red Knit Cap Girl will surely capture and hold any child's attention.
