Retired Delta Force Lieutenant Colonel Brad Taylor previously wrote One Rough Man and All Necessary Force, starring Special Forces Operative Pike Logan. Now Logan returns (again partnered with Jennifer Cahill in their cover of an archeology business) in another high octane romp of a thriller, Enemy of Mine.

This time they follow the elusive and intersecting trails of two shadowy figures - the Infidel (Lucas Kane, an American mercenary who tried to kill both Jennifer and Logan in Bosnia in a previous adventure) and the Ghost (a Palestinian assassin from the West Bank and a true believer). Along the way, Pike seeks help from an old friend, ex-Special Forces Druze Samir al-Atrash. When a meet blows up in Pike's face and he's kidnapped and tortured, he wonders if his trust was misplaced.

After a few detours (authorized and not) it becomes a race against time to find out who's trying to kill a key new Middle Eastern envoy, and to stop whatever is in play. Kane is captured and escapes. Jennifer is attacked but keeps it to herself, leaving Pike wondering. And Pike finally finds out who killed his wife and daughter. The tension builds to an explosive ending. If you enjoy military thrillers, you don't want to miss this one!
