All the rage in the United Kingdom, this little pig and her family is now collecting fans on this side of the Atlantic. It is Christmas time and Peppa and her little brother George are off to mail their gift lists to Santa. At the mailbox they meet all their friends and everyone shares what is on their lists.

After the trip to the mail box it is time to get a Christmas tree and decorate it. Then Peppa and George are off to bed so Santa can come. Awakened by noise downstairs Peppa goes to see what is happening. She catches Santa leaving gifts under the family tree.

In the ensuing conversation, Santa suddenly realizes he has lost his sheet of paper with the gifts for other children listed on it. Oh no! This could be a disaster. Fortunately, Peppa can help out because she remembers what all her friends had written in their 'Santa letters'.

Whew! What a relief. It will be a happy Christmas after all for everyone.

You'll want to have this special Christmas story (the first of what will be a series of Peppa adventures published by Candlewick) in your collection. Children two years of age and older will not only enjoy this story but they'll also have fun coloring the special poster on the inside of the book's jacket. I'd suggest you make a copy of the poster so as to preserve the book cover. It will also be easier to color on regular paper rather than the glossy paper used for book covers.
