The Foreword of TurboCharged Recipes: Delicious Fuel for Your Fabulous Fat Burning Machine urges the reader to read TurboCharged: Accelerate Your Fat Burning Machine before turning to the recipes in this new cookbook.

We are told that this is not a diet per se. TurboCharged is about what you should be eating the rest of your life. The recipes will not only help you lose weight but will set you on a path to better health, with more energy and lust for life. We are urged to forget about the dieting we did in the past. As we all know: stop the diet and the pounds come back on. We are encuoraged to take the book's advice and give this plan for better health a try.

A plethora of tips precede the recipes. Don't pass them by. Use the book to its fullest. I have not yet started my new life plan. I am going to do what I have suggested to you. Give it a whirl. See what I think. And go from there. Are you willing to see more days in your life's calendar?

Believe me, you won't be sacrificing anything. The recipes use plenty of fresh vegetables and fruits with new and interesting ways to fix them. The Vegetable and Fruit suggestions sound scrumptious. Garlic Potato Sticks have caught my eye. As has the Roasted Asparagus and the Grilled Summer Vegetable Platter. The Not Refried Beans will go on my list as will Green Beans & Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Broiled Eggplant, and Herbed Grilled Tomatoes.

Meat, of course, is also listed with some really great sounding recipes. Greek Loaf caught my eye. On the same page is a recipe for Swiss Burgers. Who could resist Chicken in Red Wine? Not me. Grilled Teriyaki Turkey Cutlet and Ginger Lemon Chicken will definitely be on my just try list.

There are ideas for salads and soups. Stews, appetizers, dips and dressing as well as the ever favorite – desserts. Heck, you get the idea. Lots of good sounding, nutritious foods that will help you to a longer and healthier life. What have you got to lose?
