Michael Fazio started out working for a Hollywood Talent agency as a personal assistant. One of the perks of the job was meeting some very famous people. He moved on - with what he learned and of course with a list of personal contacts - to become a top concierge at the InterContinental Hotel in New York City.

Michael Fazio could get you anything, anywhere, but of course for a price. If you wanted tickets to the most sold out show or reservations at a restaurant impossible to book, he would find the way. The word No was not in his vocabulary. In this book he gives us a bird's eye view of what can go on at these luxurious hotels, restaurants and private clubs of the rich and famous. He also shares insights on how to get what you want, with many tips.

I must say that I wasn't really looking forward to this book. But when I started reading it, I was fascinated right from the get go. Fazio tells his story with such passion, humor and smarts that you can't put it down. Reading made me want to get on a plane, head to New York, and try a couple of his tips. Concierge Confidential is an uplifting account of Fazio's life - if you want a smile on your face this is the one to read.
