You are invited along on a magical journey with a little girl intent on finding some very exotic items for her doll house. As Lucy departs on this little excursion, she's going to find a series of alliterative goodies that will make her large doll house the talk of the neighborhood.

She begins by locating not only an asparagus angel but also a Brazilian brass band and a candlelit clock. Next up is a delicate dragon, a collection of endless, eccentric eggs and four flamingos feasting on fruitcake.

Now that you get the idea, you can see this is not your average trip to the market and the goodies Lucy collects get even more outlandish. There's a lopsided lampshade, a nomad named Nathan, a unicorn umbrella and a vulture with vertigo. And when she's all done, Lucy will be one happy little girl because her doll house will finally be complete.

Have fun mastering the alphabet with your toddler as you read together this quirky but fun book that uses absurd alliteration and imaginative illustrations to teach the ABCs.
