Here's a charming picture book about a little girl who is delighted to have a new, little brother and tries to help her parents care for the baby. When Lola knows she is going to have a little brother, she sorts her books and sets aside some of them for the new arrival.

When she visits the baby in the hospital, Lola takes a soft book that would be perfect for his crib. When Leo is at home, Lola notices he cries a lot, so she decides to read to him. She has special stories that she reads throughout the day.

Lola reads her best potty book to Leo when he is getting his diaper changed and her best duck story to him when he is in the bathtub. If Leo takes a nap, Lola uses that time to play with her teddies.

Being a big sister is a big responsibility, but Lola handles it well as you'll see when you read this book. This is the perfect story to share with any child who might be on the verge of becoming a big sister (or big brother) in the near future.
