fter their successful debut in
Pilot Pups
, Michelle Meadows' delightful little dogs are back for an encore. This time the pups are policing the bedroom, making sure the other stuffed toys obey the traffic rules and don't get into too much mischief as they zig and zag around on the floor in their toy vehicles.
O
ops, there go Mouse and Toad at full blast in their cars. '
Flip the sirens. Hit a bump! Hold on tight and jump, jump, jump! Zooming, vrooming up, up up!
' One of the traffic pups is in hot pursuit on his motorcycle and now it is ticket time for Mouse and Toad.
N
ext, Goose runs a red light and then Bear has a collision with a traffic light pole but the pups are ready to sort out these problems. Eventually, it is back to the station where the three pups take off their uniforms and rest. Who knows when their next mission will come along, but I bet it won't be long!
T
hanks to the excellent illustrations of Dan Andreasen, the antics of these cute stuffed toys are fun to follow. Ideal for children between the ages of three and eight, this would also make a good starter book for a child just beginning to read for him or herself.
