This bilingual version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears puts an interesting spin on the classic children's story. When the three osos leave their home for a little stroll, Rubia, decked out in red cowboy boots and a flouncy skirt, decides to check out their casita.

The bouncy little blond finds some warm soup on the table which she samples. 'Perfecto!' she declares and drinks it all down. Of course, next she checks out the chairs and, oops, breaks the tiny one.

When the bears return home they discover the unwelcome interloper sleeping upstairs. From this point on, though, the story takes a new twist. Rubia wants to make amends to the Bear Family and by the time you finish this slightly revised story you'll see everyone is feeling 'Fabuloso!'

Although there is a glossary at the back of the picture book, the Spanish words' meanings are fairly obvious given the context in which they are used. After you share this book with your child you'll both agree that el libro is muy bueno!
