As they soar over a pond, the little blue bird sees a little fish. 'Look!' the bird cheeps. 'I see a fish!' Sure enough, there’s a Baby Fish swimming with its mother. 'Splish, splash, swim!' As the duo swim through the weeds and reeds in the lake, the little fish sees a snake that wiggles, ziggles, and zaggles on the shore. And on it goes with otters, ducks, mice and even a mother and her toddler. There are babies everywhere in this board book learning to venture out with their parents' help. Youngsters 18 months and older will have fun looking at this venturesome group of little animal babies as they 'sloop and slide, polly, wolly, paddle and slip and creep' across the pages of this book.
