he varied characters are woven together with a spiritual message. Love and forgiveness are underlying themes. While the story begins a bit slowly, it quickly picks up. One may be left to ponder at what point someone's quirks are deemed mental illness. It is interesting to note that, like some of the characters, many people with mental illness have high IQ's.
