Part of the World of Cars series of books, this sticker activity storybook is very short on text but very big on reusable stickers (over 100 in all). With eight pages of stickers and two fold-out double pages, plus eight other glossy regular pages, there are plenty of places to apply the stickers.

Although most youngsters may prefer to place the stickers wherever the spirit moves them, there are suggestions for where they should go. For example, on one page you are told to 'Use your stickers to show the other cars meeting them for breakfast.' Later on, it is suggested you 'Make the cars zoom around the track.' Whatever!

The idea here is to ignore the inane text (there's not even an author listed, for good reason!) and have fun using the stickers that are the book's main drawing point. If they are used only with the book, the stickers will easily detach so they can be used over and over again.

On the other hand, if the stickers end up on a wall, furniture, or in some other place (and there's a good chance that will happen!), don't he surprised if they become a permanent decoration!

Also beware - the stickers definitely pose a choking hazard so this book is recommended for children three years of age and older. No matter the child's age, just make sure the youngster is not one who still likes to put inappropriate objects in his or her mouth.

With the recent premier of Animated Shorts called Car-Toons on the Disney TV Channel and the planned release of an animated film called Cars 2 next year, the World of Cars isn't headed for the salvage yard any time soon. So, if you child likes these animated vehicles with attitudes I guess you might as well indulge him.
