Happy, that is, until his good friend Laurence Wyatt is murdered. Matt determines to find the killer as well as discover why the man was targeted. When a young delivery man is blown up in Matt's vehicle, leaving behind a young wife and child, Matt responds in kind. 'Vengeance is mine,' sayeth Matt Royal. Seems that a bunch of criminals and trained killers have a list for extermination. Matt's name is on that list as was Wyatt's. Now Matt is the hunted one. He knows that he will go to the ends of the earth to avenge his friend - even to Frankfurt, Germany. He is joined by a possible love interest as well as assorted and sundry friends, determined to find who and what is behind this rash of killings. And WHY! Racing between Frankfurt and Longboat Key, we join this group in a great story filled with crime, suspense, intrigue, action and the occasional spurt of humor. Altogether a good combination to make for a good read. I heartily recommend Wyatt's Revenge by H. Terrel Griffin, the author of Blood Island, Murder Key, and Longboat Blues - all in the Matt Royal series.
