I bet you didn't know that according to the International Chicken Flying Association, the official fowl flying record is 542 feet, nine inches (not quite two football fields in length).

Nor were you probably aware of the fact that in colonial times legend has it that dirty chimneys were sometimes cleaned by dropping chickens down them. And, if you are curious, the most eggs laid by one chicken in one day is seven!

These fowl facts are just part of what you'll discover when you open this unusual little book that is filled from cover-to-cover with chicken games and information. Poultry themed games and puzzles (crosswords, Sudoku, word jumbles, brainteasers, acrostics, visual puzzles and math stumpers) make up the bulk of this paperback, but there's also vintage chicken art and a smattering of hilarious drawings that feature the birds.

Also, to make sure you don't get egg all over your face, there's plenty of trivia about our fowl friends that may come in hand if you are ever on Jeopardy and Alex Trebeck asks, 'Crossbreed a chicken and a turkey and you get this?' ('What is a turkin' is the correct reply!)

Have this book along when you travel this holiday season and you might not mind the long airport delays. You'll be so busy enjoying the activities in this paperback you won't mind the foul service!
