Oops! the school bell rings bringing her back to reality, facing gym, a math quiz, and smelly chemistry class. Her worst real life problem is pesky nemesis Felicia Furrypaws. But not to be deterred, Jennifer and Matthew Holm's heroine forges ahead imagining the upcoming Valentine's Day Dance ... the event conjures exclamations of ohs and ahs from schoolmates for her fab gown, as she's escorted by a handsome Romeo in her role as Juliet. But, whoa! reality again - Babymouse must first receive an invite from a worthy prince in her dreamworld of 'Once upon a time ... there was a beautiful princess ... who had an evil stepmother'. The creators once again capture the essence of Babymouse in Heartbreaker. She's always a wannabe woman of the hour who reads glam mags for helpful hints - even down to moussing her whiskers! Heartbreaker is another enjoyable Babymouse romp for ages four to eight.
