Do you like your mysteries with a touch of romance? Or maybe your romance with a soupcon of mystery? Either way, Meeting Point should be the next book on your to-read list.

Ex-cop Claire Watson travels from Fairhead Rock in County Antrim to the coastline of the French Riviera for her vacation. Meeting a man she knew and suspected of murdering his wife ten years before, she finds herself inexplicably drawn to him. Enter also a man she worked with all those years ago. Still a cop, he finally indicates interest in her as well.

One clue leads to another – did the first man really throw his wife off a cliff? Or was it someone else who did the monstrous deed? Could it have been one of her co-workers back when she was in the force?

Roisin McAuley, author of Singing Bird, has penned another riveting tale in Meeting Point. It's well-written with a tightly woven plot and characters who stand out. McAuley firmly entrenches the sense of place in the reader's mind. Summer is on the way, and this is a good read for those lazy, hazy days.
