The Otto series of picture books is presented in bold, primal colors with short, simple text that the littlest of little ones will enjoy. This one addresses Otto's desire to find a friend. He drives to the beach to find a playmate. But the crab is too crabby to build a sandcastle with him, the fish 'all swim the other way', there are no bones to be found, and the cat laughs at him.

Saddened because 'Nobody likes to do the same things he likes to do', Otto naps on his towel, and is awakened by another dog, digging up bones. She soon becomes a new friend and 'Otto isn't lonely anymore.' As usual, in this heartwarming series, Otto shares his secret, and advises lonely little ones that 'there is always someone out there who will like to play with you.'

Note: An Otto screensaver can be downloaded for both PC and Mac.
