This picture book not only catches the eye, but it grabs it and keeps it glued to bright, bold pages in primal colors. Otto Goes to Bed is one of a series about a dog called Otto - though I must say that he looks to me like a cross between a dog and a space alien. This episode shares how Otto feels when it's time for bed.

You have to admit that it's hard to give up fun pastimes like chasing your tail or rolling in the mud, in order to begin bedtime preparations. Even chicken-flavored toothpaste and barking at the moon don't make this odd-looking little dog 'want to go to bed'. When he finally succeeds in falling asleep, Otto shares his secret, and it's all about dreams.

Share Otto Goes to Bed with a child who's reluctant to begin bedtime rituals; it might just change their mind, and it's sure to entertain.

Note: An Otto screensaver can be downloaded for both PC and Mac.
