Mary Engelbreit, author of the popular Ann Estelle series, brings back Gregory Mouse from The Night Before Christmas in a delightful rhyming alphabet book crammed full of enchanting holiday detail.

It begins 'A is for Angel atop a tall tree, aglow with the light of what Christmas should be' as Gregory carefully places a mouse angel on top of the Christmas tree while his family look on. We continue through the alphabet with Boxes with Bows, Cookies and Candies and Cakes, all the way to Wreaths (decorating a birdhouse), a Yule Log, and the 'Zillion ways Christmas brings cheer.' I especially like 'H is for Home and the happy hearts there and the holiday hoopla we all love to share.'

Mary Engelbreit's A Merry Little Christmas is a heartwarming, cozy, and very colorful book. Use it to wend your way through the alphabet with little ones, while anticipating the holidays and discovering together all the Christmas joy filling these pages.
