Knight Quest in The Backyardigans series is based on Knights Are Brave and Strong written by Robert Scull, with story adaptation by Astora Newton. The cover illustrations by Jason Fruchter are vividly colorful, with two postal cards to cut-out from the back cover, for writing a message and mailing to a friend or perhaps grandpa and grandma! The characters depicted inside the book by Zina Saunders are expressively outlined for coloring.

Stars of the story are Queen Tasha, Uniqua the Pink, and the Moose of the Mist Tyrone. Queen Tasha entrusts them to deliver an important message to King Austin, and if they are successful they will be dubbed as knights! As they make their way through the forest, Uniqua and Tyrone meet Pablo, the Guardian of the Gate, but the gate is stuck. They also face crossing the Swamp of Stinkiness, and need to be strong and brave to overcome obstacles and reach the King's castle.

Shiniest of all are two strips of holographic, shimmering stickers for youngsters to match-up with corresponding pictures. (Tips for using the book are provided for best usage of the enchanting coloring book and stickers.) Bring on the fun of a knightly adventure, and decipher what the Queen's message is to the King. Onward brave and strong knights!
