The Shluffmuffin twins, Cheyenne and Wally, have once more given the slip to the Mandible Sisters by hopping out of a gas station restroom and hiding in the nearby cornfields. The sisters call on pilot, Andy Barnes, to take them up in his crop duster and help them find their missing 'niece and nephew.' They keep secret their past as precision skydivers until they crawl out on the wing of the airplane and jump.

The twins' dad - who is a zombie-turned-vampire - is now working at a blood bank. A perfect job for a vampire, but will he be able to keep it?

Their friend Professor Spydelle has problems, too. He told their dad that the twins wanted to be adopted by him and his giant spider wife. Although this is true, Professor Spydelle is afraid the twins only agreed to the adoption so his wife wouldn't devour him after they mate, in an attempt to have little spiders of their own.

As is usual in this series, everyone has more troubles than they can possibly handle. The fun lies in how they solve their problems and keep ahead of their tormentors.
