Did you ever dream of being a hero, doing something very brave and very public? I did as a child and so does Babymouse, a small female cartoon character with spirit to spare. Her mind wanders off into daydreams while she copes with the trials of everyday life and deals with her cool school nemesis (Felicia Furrypaws), her vicious monster of a locker ... and the dreaded annual Dodgeball Tournament!

You can tell when Babymouse has her hero dreams as the mainly white background (with black drawings and pink highlights) to these cartoons switches to a pink background (I love the one where she's jailed for life for failure in fractions, and then there's Babymousezilla!) In this episode, Babymouse struggles with the bane of her existence (one of them anyway) - dodgeball. Her best buddy Wilson suggests practice, what a novel idea! But it bombs. So Babymouse prepares to meet her fate.

No, I won't tell you any more - read for yourself, it's much more fun that way. And watch out for the next Babymouse graphic adventure ... Beach Babe!
