A little girl wakes up to her dad's reminder that today is the day that 'Mommy comes home! ... Home to me.' At the same time, mom is leaving her hotel for the airport, heading home, 'Home to you.'

As the little girl's day passes with varied activities, it's clear that her mind and imagination are with her traveling mom, who in turn dreams of being home with husband and daughter after a hard working trip. The story alternates between one and the other, showing what they're doing and thinking.

Home to Me, Home to You is the perfect, empathetic picture book to read to a small child whose mom is traveling on business, or simply working away from the home in the daytime. The story emphasizes the strong connection that always links a parent and child, in mind and spirit.
