Poor Speedy (aka Guy) has a lot to put up with from his superhero sponsor Pumpkin Pete, who seems to have whipped cream for brains. Speedy's current problem is that Pete can't resist pushing buttons on a machine mysteriously delivered to the League of Big Justice. By the time he's done, Pete's blown up League Headquarters, the Sidekick Clubhouse and Donutz Village.

After everything goes boom, Speedy's mom offers their home as a temporary HQ, and enlists the superheros in household chores. While their sponsors work (aside from Pete, who eats everything in sight) the Sidekicks argue the nature of evil, Spice Girl contending that 'evil just didn't get enough hugs as a child' (she proves her point later in the story). Then comes an Oz-like episode that sends the house into flight and to a jungle encounter with the terrifying teens who form the 'Brotherhood of Rotten Babysitters'.

This fifth episode continues in as engagingly silly a fashion as previous ones, with a big surprise for fans and Speedy at the end, when Guy's protector, the Strike, reveals his true identity.
