achel Chavez's life couldn't get any more depressing. Her mother died, her father literally lost the family farm at the gaming tables, she is a recovering drug addict and alcoholic, and she owns and runs a parking garage! Not much chance of excitement in her life. Right?
rong! She suspects that a car parked in her garage was involved in a hit and run accident. Or was it an accident? Events go from bad to worse when several other bodies turn up, and the police suspect Rachel might have had a hand in some of the goings-on.
he plot is convoluted, but plays out perfectly with all the seemingly extraneous threads tying up nicely in the end.
Thicker Than Water
keeps the reader turning pages with action that never seems to wind down. The mind-boggling ending will have you wondering what you would do if faced with the same circumstances.
