anet's daughter Rebecca comes home for Janet's funeral, after thirty years away. Soon, Rebecca finds out information about her childhood, that makes her realize it was not as she remembers it. At the same time, a girl disappears in Hope River, her small hometown in Ontario, Canada. Rebecca's brother is accused.
care the Light Away
is a first novel for Vicky Delany, who portrays real life characters in believable situations. The plot was tight and fast paced. Action flew off the pages. The journals written by Janet revealed a knowledge of human nature as did Rebecca's acceptance of her family's foibles. Vicky Delany is an author to watch.
