This illustrated journal (from the creators of the Zentrepreneur Guides) is intended to encourage 'great beginnings'. It opens, 'An idea is a thing with feathers', something that can take off or fly away. The authors advise, 'Record it before it leaves you'.

To facilitate the capture of our own creativity, Rubin and Gold have developed The Zentrepeneur's Idea Log & Workbook as 'a place for grasping greatness'. They tell us 'IT'S ALL UP TO YOU!' As well as providing plenty of space for jotting ideas, the pages are decorated with elegant oriental line drawings, and with quotes relevant to innovation. I rather like 'If it's not broken ... break it! Dent the universe', but they all inspire.

This elegant little volume makes an unusual, welcome gift for a young person, or for anyone considering a new venture - and you can always treat yourself to a copy as a self-motivator.
