Antihero follows Nemesis as the eleventh in Gregg Hurwitz's stellar thriller series starring Evan Smoak. Selected as a young orphan for a U.S. black assassin training program, Evan reinvented himself as the legendary Nowhere Man. He helps those whom the law fails.

Though he prefers to work alone, Evan is close to teen world-class hacker Joey whom he helped escape the program; ex-Orphan V Candy; and Mexican cartel head Aragon Urrea. These people help him remain human in a dark world.

The person who needs his help this time is a saintly young woman, Anca. Subject to regular seizures, she's kidnapped from the New York City subway and gang raped - on video, for sale online. Evan is called to help her and deal with her kidnappers.

While he does that, he asks Candy to watch over Anca, who demands that Evan promise not to kill the ones who violated her. He sets FBI Agent Naomi Templeton on the trail of RedLite, the company behind the porn sites - and the videos. Then he heads to RedLite HQ.

Through it all, Evan struggles with his feelings, and keeping in balance the people he cares for with the life he lives. A thoroughly engrossing read, as always!
