Sarina Bowen, author if The Five Year Lie, now brings fans Dying to Meet You, whose lead is architect (and single mother of teen Natalie) Rowan Gallagher. As the story opens, she and her younger colleague Beatrice have undertaken the restoration of a historic (possibly haunted) mansion, at the behest of Maine billionaire Hank Wilcott. It's being converted into the Wincott Center for Marine Heritage.

In addition to the challenges of the conversion, Rowan is seething over having been just dumped by her boyfriend, investigative journalist Tim Kovak, and is stalking him on her phone's FriendFiner app. When she finds hime only three blocks from her home, she sets out with her dog to find out who he's with - and finds him murdered in his car. Of course, she comes under suspicion.

Gradually, secrets are revealed. Tim had carefully crafted their initial spontaneous meeting - why? Rowan learns he was adopted, born in the mansion when it was a Home for Wayward Girls. He stole photos from her phone. What was Natalie's medallion doing in Tim's car? Why does Natalie's ex-con father want to reconnect after a very long estrangement? And why was Tim investigating Hank Wilcott?

Tension rises, as does the police interest in Rowan, while she tries to uncover the truth - and puts herself in serious jeopardy.
