Meg Lanslow continues to work her magic in Caerphilly, employing both PI and social worker skills (though she is employed as neither) in Birder, She Wrote. the thirty-third in this long-running series.

This episode centers on beekeeping; neighborhood conflicts between working farmers and NIMBY (Not in my backyard) residents of new McMansions; a long-lost 1800s African-American cemetery, where a very recent corpse is found; and blackmail.

Seems like too much for Meg to deal with? As always, she has her cohort of friends (old and newly added) and relatives always ready to drop everything when she calls on them for aid.

And as always, the danger ends up close and personal for Meg herself. She barely survives the resulting shooting spree, but technology and Tinkerbell save the day. Great fun as usual!
