A parent's worst nightmare. Eleven year-old Lucy Devlin disappeared on her way to school and her story grew into one of the most famous missing child cases in history.

Reporter Clare Carlson became famous with her in-depth reporting of the case. It won her a Pulitzer Prize. She had exclusive access to the child's family. Clare and Anne Devlin, the child's mother, both spent decades trying to find Lucy.

Every story has more to it than appears on the surface. This was true with the Lucy Devlin cold case. There was no sign of the child in the passing years until a narrow grave was found containing the bodies of six children! It was determined that one of the bodies might be Lucy's.

This is where the plot takes a turn with unforeseen results. Don't rush ahead. The story expands and more clues and information surface. Remember, I said don't peek. Let yourself be as surprised as I was at the dynamite ending.
