ere's a sweet bedtime yarn about a mother bear's innovative solution to her little one's sleep problems. Mama Bear gives Frankie a ball of yarn to hold in bed - a different color every night - and knits as her little one falls asleep.
s each ball shrinks to nothing, Frankie's mother gives him a new one, and '
every color had a story
' that took him on different journeys of imagination. Before the yarn, Frankie was afraid of sleep, worrying '
where the darkness would take him
'. The yarn anchors him.
ut what is his mother knitting? It's a surprise so I can't tell you, but Frankie is getting ready to let go of the yarn - what will replace it?
