The Boring Book

pen the first page of this picture book and you'll discover a little book filled with words (no paragraphs) that no one ever reads. This sleep-inducing situation was no fun for anyone, so the words in the book decided to do something radical – they escaped from the confining covers of their prison!
nce they broke free, some amazing and humorous things began to happen as the words ran amok and found new homes in some unlikely places, like along highways and on signs. Of course, the liberated words created a bit of an uproar with their new freedom but I'll let you sort that out as you enjoy this quirky book.
lthough this book is suggested for children as young as three years of age, it probably would be more appropriate for an older reader who will appreciate the author's approach and sense of humor. Adults will also find this an interesting book and will appreciate the volume's underlying idea.
