Here's a nice way to introduce a young child to recognizing different birds in your yard and neighborhood. A number of common birds are pictured with accompanying stickers that can be posted in a special section of the book when the youngster sees the birds.

Besides providing some basic information about birds and colorful illustrations, plus the thirty stickers, this simple activity book will encourage the child to become more aware of his/her natural surroundings.

Also, this would be the introduction to keeping track of birds that visit your area and perhaps initiating a lifelong interest in bird spotting.

Note: The stickers do present a choking hazard so make sure they end up in the book – not in your child’s mouth!
