Some elephants hear the lion and their high pitched trumpet is also a warning that danger may be near. As children four and older page through this book they will not only discover the way the creatures of the African savanna communicate but they'll learn how these animals are interdependent upon one another. Not only is this a fascinating way to learn about this wilderness area but the activities at the end of the book will also engage the reader in other ways. Ideal for a natural science unit or a way to discover some of the special features of the savanna, this inexpensive book will be an excellent resource for teachers and families.
