book, this latest Hamster Holmes adventure finds the hairy detective and his buddy, a firefly named Dr. Watt, trying to determine who or what is waking up their friend, Corny Squirrel, each night.
amster Holmes and Dr. Watt decide to stay up at Corny's house and catch the person who bangs on the door late at night. Of course, everyone will be surprised when they discover who the culprit actually is.
e longer sentences with less dialogue and more descriptive passages, along with a more complex story line, make this a book that children working on their reading skills will enjoy.
f your child is finding other readers too easy or boring, give this one a try. I think the likable characters and mystery element will be a hit.
