avid Black presents his story with a slightly different format for a slightly different novel. The first page of each chapter is encompassed by a printed block and has a replica of a gumshoe at the bottom of the page, wearing a fedora and with a gun evident in hand.
ake no mistake.
mystery, reminiscent of Mickey Spillane, with characters who are always in hot water and have a gorgeous babe on their arms. This is delightful reading from an author who is an Emmy and Pulitzer-Prize-nominated writer.
