Ballet Cat and Sparkles the Pony are trying to decide what to do. Ballet Cat tells her friend to pick the activity but then she finds a problem with every one. No crafts, playing checkers or selling lemonade because in some way they will interfere with dancing, which is what Ballet Cat wants to do.

When it becomes obvious that they are going to do what Ballet Cat wants to do, Sparkles the Pony becomes a little fed up. He won't tell his fried what is bothering him until she forces it out of him. 'Sometimes I don't want to play ballet,' Sparkles says. Oh boy, how will the cat react to this?

Well, Ballet Cat also has a secret which she then shares with Sparkles. I won't steal her fire by sharing what that secret is, but you'll love it!

With its simple but eye catching illustrations and cute characters, this picture book will appeal to young readers. The story is also well thought out, which should make this a book your child will enjoy reading over and over again.
