How often have you heard these words, 'Mine! My blankie. Mine!'?

Small children can become very possessive at a young age and everything is 'Mine!' No matter the situation, whether with a sibling or a friend, if the child doesn't want to share his/her possessions there can quickly be a minor confrontation.

That's what happens in this picture book with the little girl who sees everything around her as 'Mine!' Fortunately, by the last page she has learned to share. I'll let you discover how this transformation takes place but you might want to consider this book as a way of changing that cry of 'Mine!' to something less confrontational in your house.

The simple illustrations and text work together to get the author's point across here about the benefits of sharing. Give it a try if you need an antidote for a reluctant sharer!
